It seems that spring has finally decided to come to happy valley. Spring, especially this year, is very welcome. This last winter wasn't particularly harsh but it seemed to last longer than usual. The grass is greening up, the lilies are coming up, the trees are blossoming, the tulips have bloomed, and the lilac is budding. The mountains are still snow capped which adds to the beauty of the valley. Now we are just waiting for the snow to melt so that we can visit the beautiful mountains that surround us. I am seriously contemplating summiting some of the more prominent peaks here in happy valley. Lone Peak (Elev. 11,253 feet), Mt. Timpanogos (Elev. 11,749 feet), and Mt. Nebo (Elev. 11,928 feet). If anyone is interested in joining me, let me know. Ahh...yes indeed spring has arrived.
