Pittsburgh Lake

We did it. We saw it. We were there. Finally after the second attempt and through the falling rain we made it to Pittsburgh Lake. This little known lake in American Fork Canyon was difficult to get to but was definitely worth it. My sister-in-law, Sandy, and her kids accompanied Ethan and I on this trip.

This is a moose that we saw. We were half way up the hill and he was at the bottom of the valley.

It rained off and on during the hike and this is what it looked like as we were leaving.

This what much of the trail was like, steep and rocky.

From this point is where we spotted the moose.

Here everyone was huddled together on the south shore of the lake.
